Birth Certificate Dudley 1896 (Sept.) 6c. 131.
In the 1901 Census Alice, aged 4, is living with her Grandparents who should be Reuben and Hannah Jones (neι Taylor). Her Grandparents are stated to be John and Hannah Taylor which seems to imply that Reuben Jones is deceased and she has married again taking the name Taylor which is coincidentally the same as her Maiden Name. This needs confirming.
There is a marriage in 1886 (March) Dudley 6c.55 of John Taylor and Hannah Jones which seems to confirm the above.
