bullet  General Notes:

Also living in the 1851 Census household are Mary Wilcock (Mother-in Law) together with John and Hannah Wilcock (Brother and Sister-in-Law). They are from Liverpool and they are also shown in the 1841 Census as living with Alice Monks. Alice was a Spinster at marriage and the probable relationship is Alice was Half Sister to John and Hannah Wilcock (ie. Alice was the product of Mary's first marriage to William Monks and Mary then later remarried, or cohabited with, William Wilcock). William Monks would have died prior to 1834 in view of Hannah Wilcock's birth c.1835.
The alternative is that James Grimshaw was previously associated with a Wilcock by which a child was born (say Jonathan) and this would explain the Wilcock family being in the 1851 Census household.
James Grimshaw is shown in the Census of 1841 and is identified as being the correct one by Simeon Leyland who is staying at the same address (Simeon Leyland was a Witness at the marriage of James Grimshaw to Alice Monks). Thomas Grimshaw, at the same address, is assumed to be his grandfather.
