Esther Oakley is presumed to hsve died in 1856 but there is an Mrs Esther Oakley (nee Bills) of the correct age living with the Bills family and shown in the 1861 Census. If the Death Certificate shown for 1856 is not the correct one the it may be that Esther returned home to her parents and Rebecca moved in with John Oakley. (A marriage certificate for John Oakley and Rebecca has not as yet been found).
