Elizabeth was also staying with Margaret 1n 1901.

At the census in 1861 they were living with Margaret's parents.

In the 1871 and subsequent censuses there is a Joseph in this family described as "son" until after Joseph Snr died when he was described as "Grandson" in the 1891 census. Age, place of birth and occupation are exactly the same as for EJ Hayes. His mother is now known to be Martha Lydia.

Similarly "Emma" is described as "daughter" in the 1871 census but in 1881 whilst living at Ralph's is described as "niece" to Ralph (now known to be the daughter of Martha Lydia).
