This marriage has not been verified. The index shows that a Frances Kendall married either an Arthur Middleton or Frank Wardle in Dec Q 1909. However, the Wardle family have not been found on the 1911 census, but the alternative Middleton family on that register page have been found in Chorlton. The children have all been taken from the birth indexes and those born after 1912 have a surname of Wardle and a mother whose surname is Kendall. There are also three other possible children born Salford 1910 at which times mothers' maiden names were not included in the indexes.
