Date: 30 June 2010 Details:
  1. A big welcome to Isaac Mark Bingham, a new member of my family
  2. To allow for future development the Ferguson One-Name files have been changed to "PHP", so if bookmarked please renew.
  3. A new page showing Ferguson One-Name trees has been added.
  4. 363 more names added to Ferguson One-Name Study including 283 Fergusons.
  5. There has been a major correction to the family of John Anders.
  6. A question for my family: is Samual Furgison (sic) our 5th g-grandfather?
  7. The One-Name study now comprises 3074 individuals of whom 2229 are Fergusons.
  8. There are now 4794 names and 742 surnames in my Ferguson Family section

  1. New Ferguson distribution & birth Maps
  2. Few changes to the Family Records, but around 10 additions to the relations of Thomas Mather b.1854

  4. The One-Name study now comprises 2711 individuals of whom 1964 are Fergusons

  1. Added 14 members of the Sharples and Cummings families descendants of Elizabeth Alice Ward Hayes b. 1884 with thanks to Linda Cummings for her help.
  2. A start has been made on searching for the ancestors of James Ernest Heckles b.1925 and 13 records have been added.
  3. A number of alterations have been made to the Grimshaw section with 2 new individuals added.

  2. The main additions In the Ferguson Tree are to the Hayes family and in particular the family of Martha Lydia Pilkington.
  3. After 5 years of looking, Mrs Skidmore who was mentioned in Edward Joseph Hayes' Obituary has been identified.
  4. In the Grimshaw Tree, notable additions to the Pee, Griffith and Holstead families.
  5. A total of 80 new names and 12 new surnames.

  1. RSS (Atom) feeds added to both Ferguson and Grimshaw Portals through which changes during each month will be announced.
  2. A new entrance portal has been made for the Grimshaw Tree.
  3. Westmorland Parish Registers are now searchable.
  4. The full Family Tree of Edward Tyrer b. 1713 of Knowsley added
  5. Following a visit to Kendal my 4th great-grandmother, wife of Ben Ferguson b. 1766, has been found.
  6. Following the above visit 11 new Fergusons added with a major change in the descendants of Ben and Jane.
  7. 43 new individuals and 6 surnames added.
Up Date: 30 June 2008 Details:
  1. There has been a major rewrite of the way in which much of the site now operates which should give a lot more flexibility for future development.
  2. The additions to the Hill, Davies, Pee families have continued.
  3. Expansion of the Eccles Parish Registers (marriages) for the Pearson, Lowe and Robinson families.
  4. Through the above research my 4th Great grand-parents, Joseph Pearson and Rachael Markland were found.
  5. The Registers are now to be found under the Ancestry tab.
  6. The genealogical work is now compiled using Legacy7.0.
